Abstract

Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) is a prevalent and debilitating condition characterized by an intense fear of  social situations and a significant concern about being negatively evaluated or humiliated in the presence of  others. SAD can have a profound impact on an individual's personal, academic, and occupational life.

Despite its prevalence, many individuals remain undiagnosed or untreated, often relying on avoidance  behaviours that exacerbate the disorder.
